We're glad you asked! A long time ago a Loan Officer noticed folks were doing things backwards:
So this Loan Officer came up with the an idea- Rather than contact a real estate agent first, ALL
Homebuyers should contact a Loan Officer FIRST. So instead of looking for a home and then
seeing if they could get financing for it, the process would look like this:
And so, years later in 1999, Pre-Apply.com was founded! And in addition to helping buyers, we of
course do financing for existing homeowners too! So give us a TRY!
* Pre-Apply: to apply before ("pre") searching for a home to purchase

- Sometimes their financing would not go through, and the deal fell apart
- And all the time spent by the buyers, the sellers, and the agents was wasted

Homebuyers should contact a Loan Officer FIRST. So instead of looking for a home and then
seeing if they could get financing for it, the process would look like this:
- Contact a Loan Officer and Pre-Apply*
- Get a Loan Approval for your maximum amount of financing
- THEN- Contact a real estate agent, find a home, and
- Since you decided to Pre-Apply and are similar to a cash buyer- Negotiate your best deal!
